Milford Recreation was a vision which became a reality in 1965, when a group of residents
began discussing a recreation space for youth in the Milford area.

Almost 60 years later, MRA continues to provide our recreational facility
to the community and residents of East Hants.

Did you know that the MRA has been a registered charitable organization
(Registration no: 888298791 RR 0001) in Canada since 2005?

If you wish to make a charitable donation please email us milfordrectreasurer@gmail.com or use our “Donate button”and we will issue a tax receipt.

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge.  You are doing good for others and the community, which provides a natural sense of accomplishment. Your role as a volunteer can also give you a sense of pride and identity.

Milford Recreation has been going strong for 55 years and it could not, and would not happen without you, the MRA volunteers.

Weddings, company parties, concerts, dances, and public meetings.

We are working on our online booking tool, in the meantime send us an email to

info@milfordrecreation.ca and we will get right back to you.
